Its Order Handling capabilities are designed based on demand driving supply -- demand is driven by sales orders and call-offs placed by your customers, and supply is managed by the creation of production orders to fill the sales orders.

PECAS Vision provides complete flexibility in the sales order to production process to meet the needs of your organization and to allow for the most efficient and cost effective method of production to be found for each job, every time. They system can manage a one-to-one relationship, where one sales order will be satisfied with one production order; a one to many relationships, where one sales order may be satisfied by multiple production orders; or a many to one relationship, where many sales orders and customers may be satisfied with a single production order.

PECAS Vision Order Processing has been designed to help your organization meet the varying business processes the market demands, as efficiently as possible. Sales orders can be created automatically from existing estimates or by fast and easy data entry of an item code and quantity for each order line.

Item sales prices can be derived automatically directly from an existing estimate, eliminating the need to re-key any data. Or they can be derived from an agreed price held on an Item Master to facilitate repetitive or contract pricing.

PECAS Vision also automatically performs credit checks upon order entry to ensure your clients are within acceptable limits for your organization, before orders are processed. Credit checks for clients include both outstanding balances in accounts receivable and the sales value of any non-invoiced sales orders such as work-in-progress or finished goods.

Call-off schedules can be created at the time when a sales order is processed or at a later time in response to a customer request, allowing your organization to easily manage the production process in the most efficient way possible for your company while meeting your client needs.

The PECAS Vision application allows for flexibility when managing production order processing. Production orders are often created in response to sales orders placed by customers, but the system also accommodates the creation of a production order prior to a confirmed sales order for situations when a customer requests that minimum inventory balances be held to ensure a short lead time for call-offs.

With PECAS Vision repetitive estimates and orders are simplified and errors are reduced with a master estimate. This estimate can be created to hold all manufacturing information such as size and style of the product, relevant substrates, finishes, the production route, and special instructions to be communicated to the shop floor for each product a client regularly orders.

PECAS Vision can also leverage master estimate data to generate production routing information and material requirements for each job, streamlining and automating these processes for every order placed from a master estimate.

PECAS Vision Materials Movement helps completely automate the movement and tracking of product into finished goods storage areas.

The system automatically produces bar code pallet labels and allows goods to be scanned into their stock location for easy tracking, look up and picking.

PECAS Vision's Order Handling allows typical rack/row/bin configuration to be set up and managed so that materials can be placed where needed to be accessed, whether they are already allocated to jobs, or allocated as free stock.

Picking lists are generated based upon shipping or call-off schedules. Efficient picking is aided by use of radio-frequency hand-held terminals. The picking list is downloaded to the device and the warehouseman picks the goods by scanning appropriate pallets. Invoicing of shipped products can be performed immediately.
